As part of involvement across the whole Lincoln Bypass project Rilmac Scaffolding were required to provide abutment access during bridge installation.

Rilmac had already provided scaffold access during the concrete pour phases of the bridge abutments either side of the Market Rasen rail line.

The next phase of work was the installation of the four steel bridge sections which was planned over a 12-hour night shift period with appropriate Network Rail line closures.

Rilmac scaffolders were on hand during the night shift to provide access routes on to the newly positioned bridge sections and to allow for the uncoupling of the crane slings.
