January saw Rilmac Scaffolding fly to another safety award.  The award was presented by Matt Pugh of Kier, who are the lead contractors at the RAF Shawbury site in Shropshire, and was for significant effort and contribution to providing a safe working environment through the month of January.

Winning the Safe Sub-Contractor of the Month Award this January was especially pleasing.  Des Booth, Director of Rilmac Scaffolding explained, “It’s even better receiving an award like this for a period when the site was particularly busy.  When a site is busy, as RAF Shawbury was at the start of the year, the situation means that it could be easy for us to ‘take our eye off the ball’ caught up in the process of erecting scaffolding.  It is satisfying to be recognised for our safety when the challenge is greatest.  The challenge will be to win it again in February!”
