Monday 17^th October saw the launch of Lincolnshire Business Week.  This week long exploration and trumpeting of all business, great and small across Lincolnshire is in its second year, and Rilmac were pleased to attend the launch event.  The launch was held in the conference suite of The Showroom Lincoln and was well attended by a good cross section of Lincolnshire based businesses.  The whole week is a project overseen by Lincolnshire Media and the editor in chief, Charles Walker made everyone welcome.

After a brief talk from Paul White of Lincolnshire Business Week sponsors Santander the guest speaker was Iain Lister CEO of Lincoln based Greenway Group.  Like the Rilmac Group, Greenway are growing beyond Lincolnshire and raising a profile nationally and internationally, so it was fascinating to hear what he had to say.

The launch event was a great success and Rilmac got to meet with old contacts and many new people from across the region.  As a large employer, with a long heritage in the city and the county, Rilmac believe events like this, and schemes like Lincolnshire Business Week can only be of great benefit.  Members of Rilmac staff will be attended many other events across Lincolnshire Business Week and hope they will be as useful and interesting as this one.
