From three men and a van, Rilmac has come a long way over the last 60 years, thanks to its reputation as a market leader of asbestos removal services, fabrication, insulation, and scaffolding services.

While Rilmac may have started with just three people, and was incorporated by Roger Walker in 1957, today the Rilmac Group of Companies employs around 250 and has a turnover of around £16m.

Still owned and managed by the same family, three generations have now been involved in the business, including Roger’s son, Paul, the current chairman, and his grandson Tom.

It is with much excitement and pride that Rilmac look towards 2017 and their diamond anniversary.  Sixty years has always been an achievement for a business, however the past few years have provided their own challenges to the economy as a whole.  So it is with some pride that as well as looking back on 60 successful years the staff and management at Rilmac are looking forward to a new future, new growth and new markets.

Of course this is not just a time to reminisce.  This is also an occasion to plan for the future, to look to the next generation, and to continue moving forward.
