Janice Batchelor, scheduler at Rilmac Fabrication in Lincoln, will be ‘Braving the Shave’ during her lunch break on Friday 7th April.  This fundraising event, in aide of the Macmillan Cancer Support Charity, will see Janice have her head shaved by an eager colleague who will have an auction to perform the task.  Meanwhile Janice’s family and friends, alongside charitable Rilmac Group employees, have already been digging deep to sponsor her.

Cancer care is an issue close to Janice’s heart and she is aiming to raise a great deal of much needed funds for the Macmillan Cancer Support Charity.  “The Brave the Shave fundraising idea is a little bit different, and people will hopefully take notice.” Said Janice, whose mother Irene has already prepared several head scarfs for after the shave, “As well as raising a lot of money for Macmillan, I am also hoping to raise awareness of the great work carried out by the Macmillan Nurses.”
