In addition to training hard for the Porterbrook Three Peaks Challenge by Rail, the team of four from Rilmac are also busy raising funds for The Railway Children charity.
Over the past month, Rob Harris (Head of Business Development) and Dave Mason (Insulation Contracts Manager) have been battling it out to see who can raise the most amount of money. As well as both being extremely competitive, they had the added incentive of the loser having to agree to have his legs waxed!
All the sponsorship has been counted and verified, and we can now reveal that the person getting his legs waxed will be…
ROB HARRIS!
It was so close, with only £44 difference between the two, but more importantly they managed to raise an amazing £1,122 between them! This brings the current total to £1,412, with plenty more fundraising ideas to follow over the next few months.
We will of course make sure that plenty of pictures and videos are taken of the event, so watch this space!
Thank you so much to everyone who has donated already, if you wish to make a donation to this worthwhile cause, please follow the link below.
