The Lincoln Tank memorial was unveiled to crowds of over 500 people, including visitors from around the globe and members of the original designers family and is a celebration of Lincoln’s engineering heritage.

The monument sits on Tritton Road roundabout in Lincoln, by the University and is situated very close to where the original tanks were built and where Rilmac Fabrication are now based.

MP Karl McCartney said, “I think today is a tremendous occasion, bringing together the relatives of the families that were responsible for putting Lincoln on the military map.”

Rilmac Fabrication are extremely proud to have been contracted to fabricate the memorial which is such an important reminder of the industrial heritage of Lincoln, and evidence that it is still going strong today.
