Heavy showers failed to dampen spirits at the Rilmac Group’s 31st Annual Golf Day on Friday 19th July. The competition, at Belton Woods near Grantham, was played in good spirits despite the weather and a good day was enjoyed by all. There were 18 teams in all, with many fine performances and a close finish.
The team winners on the day were Lee Johnson, Andy Curtis, Richard Lee and Harry Mayes, who also won best individual. The longest drive was won by Rob Wright with Paul Warman taking ‘nearest the pin’. For Rilmac staff however the most important trophy is the Rilmac Cup, given to the best performing employee. This year’s winner was Scaffolding Director Sam McSpadden.
As well as an opportunity to catch up with customers in a more relaxed setting, the day saw the official launch of the 2019 Rilmac Charity Golf Day. This will be played on 27th September at Market Rasen Golf Club, raising funds for Mind, Prostate Cancer UK, and Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.
