Paint Sprayer / Shot Blaster
Location: Lincoln
Hours of Work: Full Time
The Role
A great opportunity is available for a full-time job within Rilmac Fabrication as an Industrial paint sprayer / shot blaster, based in Lincoln, – painting been the primary role.
This is a day shift position which the role will be to provide superior standards of paint finishes on in house manufactured engineering equipment.
The Ideal candidate must have a proven background using twin pack and single pack products using air assisted and conventional spray systems within a spray booth environment.
You must be able to work on your own or in a team environment, being self-motivated and work with minimal supervision.
Be able to follow Safety guidelines, and use safety equipment provided, maintain a clean and organized work area.
The candidate will have knowledge to be able to mix and apply various types of paints using data sheets provided, work to tight tolerances, be able to use WFT along with conversant taking DFT checks and environmental checks and accurately recording the results.
Other responsibilities will include;
· Checking goods before dispatch.
· Fitting of some small components onto equipment after spraying.
· Working to tight deadlines to meet the needs of the business.
· Adhering to company health and safety procedures.
· Preparation of products ready to paint / shotblasting.
The Candidate
You will be an experienced (wet) paint sprayer, able to work to the correct DFT required, at the same time producing high quality products within a timely manner.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following;
· Experience working within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
· Experience at paint preparation and spraying and have worked in a busy workshop environment.
· The ability to produce work of high quality.
· Be able to work as part of a team.
· Flexible approach towards working hours.
· Competent user of various hand tools.
· Having a FLT license and overhead crane training is desirable but not essential.

TIG/MIG Welder
Location: Lincoln
Hours of Work: Full Time
The fabrication team are now looking to recruit a skilled and experienced TIG / MIG Welder to join their experienced fabrication team.
The successful candidate will be conversant at reading engineering drawings, work with the minimum of supervision, be conscientious and work to tolerances time frames sand quality requirements.
The successful candidate must be able to work based in the fabrication workshop in Lincoln and may include some outworking.
Coded TIG / MIG welder
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am – 15.30pm
Friday 7am – 14-00pm
Rate: £16.15 per hour (Depending on experience).
Overtime (as and when to suit project requirements): time and a half after 38.5hours
Overview of the role of a TIG / MIG welder:
- Read and understand technical design drawing specifications.
- Complete products to drawings and specifications.
- Safe use of weld & power / hand equipment (to include grinder)
- Adherence / control / completion of fabrication documentation to CE standard.
- Correct use of All PPE – Weld fume & RPE
- Ability to consistently weld and fabricate whilst conforming QA requirements
- Coded welder – Adherence to all HSE Hot Work Safety Systems
- Some confined space work may be required.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years Welding Experience
- Proficient in MIG/TIG welding, working with plate and pipework using various metals, carbon steel, stainless steel and Nickle Alloys.
- Coded welder with previous experience, accreditation and certification gains through approval.
Desirable but not essential
- Forklift licence / Experience
- Rigging / Slinging an advantage
- Driving Licence
